Margaret River Region
Situated some 280 kilometres south of the Western Australian capital Perth, the Margaret River region has become world famous for the production of quality premium wines.
It was not always a wine growing region, having been founded in the 1850's by European migrants who concentrated on forestry as the area's major industry. It was not until the late eighties that wine became the popular industry it is today.
Dr John Gladstone, expert in the ecology of wine grapes had earlier identified certain areas of Margaret River as 'ideal' and stating that some were exceptional. Wilyabrup is included in this prestige list and the quality of wine exhibited in every glass of Carbunup Crest bears testimony to his claim.
Today, Margaret River wines are respected for their quality and taste. Carbunup Crest is a proud representative of the region with awards and medals testifying to their ability to produce wonderful wines.
You simply must try these superb wines of quality. You'll be surprised at the value and you'll find it difficult to believe that such fabulous wine can be part of your cellar at such a low cost.
